Photo // It used to be known as ‘God’s Wonderful Railway’ and ‘The Holiday Line’ because it connected city-dwellers to Cornwall and the West Country. Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s Great Western Railway was recently re-branded by Pentagram to bring back a bit of its former magic. Reviving the old name of the railway and taking some inspiration from the old branding, this contemporary identity is certainly aware of its history but definitely isn’t stuck in the past
